Cultural events, music, workshops, discussion groups, and information guides make up the work of General Population. As an administrative assistant it will be necessary to contribute toward meeting the needs of the Organization. The AA develops, identifies and implements efficient and effective work procedures and processes to ensure that weekly needs of the Organization are met. The AA develops written correspondence, which requires a solid understanding of business operations and objectives, and must be capable of translating spoken ideas and concepts into clear and concise written communication. This position requires a highly organized, creative and detail minded individual.
Computer skills, particularly competence in Microsoft Office and the Internet are essential. Knowledge of experiential marketing, SEO, email marketing, or blogging are expected.
The college students and recent graduates are ideal candidates. Individuals who have a desire for a career within media and community groups are also ideal candidates.
The position is part-time and pays $10/hr 12-24 hours per week.
